Passwords isn’t saving anything even when it asks after logging in to a website.

I’ve tried adding manually as well from the app. Click save and it disappears. For some reason, there’s a lot of wi-fi logins saved (33) but all other categories (including “All”) say zero next to them. I think if it was working properly the All category should at least say 33? Full disclosure, I found out my mother has been saving all her logins and basically everything that should be very secure in her Contacts app. So I’m sitting here trying to get her sorted. Any thoughts to what the problem might be would be appreciated! ETA I had got her started a while ago with Keychain and didn’t realize at some point she stopped using her older laptop and now is only using an iPhone and iPads. Passwords app is working fine on these devices but she’s putting everything in Contacts. She’s 79! So now I’ve given her a MacBook Air and was setting it up for her, everything is supposed to sync and it’s not. I updated all the devices to the latest OS and it didn’t fix anything. Everything *should* be syncing from what I can see in the settings. I’m at a loss.
