My 2020 Mac Air's constantly throttles for nothing

So I bought the 2020 Mac Air the year it came out, and I hear lots about problems that this Mac gen has for people. It's the last generation of Intel cores btw. My fan regularly throttles to near max RPM, getting very loud. And I recently realized that when this happens my CPUs, Memory, and GPU gets to around 90-100 degrees C. Why is this happening? Is something wrong with my computer or would this be expected for an intel chip Mac air? Also, this isn't something new for me. These problems started nearly immediately after getting the Mac. I don't have warranty so I'll probably get a new Mac soon if these issues can't be fixed. I can't do anything even slightly intensive like have many tabs open, or code without my mac throttling and the components getting super hot, so half of the time I use my computer it's throttling and really hot (I code a lot and tend to have multiple tabs open). Would love any advice from someone who knows more about computers than me or has more insight into these problems. Thanks in advance. Edit: I've tried restarting SMC before and found no issues through system diagnostics. My battery is sever condition though, unsure if that pertains to this.
