Macports on M1 Mac?

Anyone have problems building with macports on an M1 mac recently? I had no problems for the last couple years, since I got my M1 MacAir. Recently I was doing an update and macports failed with an error. I then did a full reinstall of macports, nuking all my previously compiled macports apps.
