Macbook or Mac Mini for music production

I’ve been thinking of getting a mac for music production and maybe light gaming, but mostly for making music on Logic Pro (this will be my first mac jsyk). I want to produce songs that are a mix of metal/electronic rock, and I would see myself only using between 20-40 tracks for each song. I’ve been looking at the m4p mac mini and the m4p macbook pro (14inch), both in which have 24gb RAM and 512gb storage. As far as I know the mini is less expensive, along with the extra accessories needed to use it (keyboard, mouse and monitor etc.). But I also like the portability of a MacBook. I’m also unsure if those specs are either not enough or more than enough for the music I want to make. Any thoughts on this?
