Macbook Air M2 stuck on restore screen

Hello, I was looking to purchase a macbook and recently saw a macbook air m2 stuck on the restore screen for a low price. How risky would it be to purchase this? I saw videos on youtube on how to get out of this screen, but is there a chance that the ssd itself is fried? Thank you
