Mac Mini M2 unable to control display without mirroring the same display LG 49WL95C-W

Hello. I bought a 49WL95C-W from LG about a year ago for my mac mini M2. Now running MacOS 14.6.1 still having the same problem: the Display has a HDMI and a Type C DP . when i connect the HDMI alone, i get resolution up to 3840x1080, which is not crispy and looks really really bad. when using the Typ C Port, i get the maximum resolution of 5K x 1440P BUT I can't control the display, for example: the button on the display won't turn it on, when it works, i can't control the audio, or the brightness or anything basically. I tried to solve it, connected both HDMI and Typ C at the same time, which did the trick with the controls. but i get this weird 2x Monitor thing in settings (while only using one).
