Looking for advice for a DisplayLink dock/adapter

Hi there ! I just bought an M3 MacBook Air (16 gigs if that matters) and I wanted to make it work with my 2 display environment. My first display is an HDMI one (1080p), and the other one is quite older : it's VGA/DVI (I already have an HDMI adapter if that helps). I'd also like if possible to keep the lid open and therefore have 3 displays (including the Retina display) Anything you'd recommend ? I read online I should use DisplayLink (as my MacBook is limited to 2 display); do you have any special dock/adapter you would think is worth buying/having a look into ? Btw, if there is USB-C/USB-A ports as well on it it would be even better. Thanks a bunch.
