Laptop keeps Power ON sleep mode (It never sleeps)

I am using MacBook Air M1. I purchased it 2.5 years back and it is working fine. But, from last few days when I keep lead close it is not going in sleep mode it keeps ON and resulting in significant battery drain and also make it warm. Can anybody help me?
