Keyboard Shortcut for Sleep on Non-Apple Keyboard

I have an applescript text that triggers sleep I have been using since at least Snow Leopard which I have bound to a keystroke (FN+F7) to allow me to put the computer to sleep without use of the mouse. I dont have an apple keybaord so the usual keyboard shortcut using the "eject" button is not available. I just picked up a new Mac Mini and this is my first experience with Sequoia, coming from Monterey, so no experience with Sonoma either. For some reason I cannot find a way to make a keyboard shortcut to trigger this script or put the computer to sleep. I know there are third party apps like Karbinator or Quicksilver that can help, but I had this working under Monterey with just MacOS. Any help would be appreciated.
