Disk Utility won't open when connecting an external hard drive

Hello The Disk Utility won't open when connecting an external hard drive, it just keeps loading. I tried opening the mac in safe mode and this issue persists. How can I mount the hard drive or how can I use my external hard drive again? I can open it using a Linux machine. Ejected it properly on there but it still won't open on Mac OS... I also tried searching on the internet and they offer really bad solutions such as settings on Finder and show these items on the Desktop... MacOS Sequoia Version 15.2 Macbook Pro M1 (2021) Seagate External Hard Drive.
