Did they remove the ability to gradually ramp up a video's speed in iMovie?

I could swear you used to be able to manually adjust the duration of a speed ramp in iMovie (so that the speed change is gradual), but now I cant figure it out for the life of me. No, I don't want to switch to Premiere Pro (I actually have it but am too lazy so spend 40h learning it).
