Decent external display for MacBook Air m1

Hello, i am searching for an external display to use with my MacBook Air M1. Currently I have a 24'' 1080p monitor, but I find the text blurry and fuzzy (with a windows laptop I didn't noticed this problem). I am therefore searching for an alternative display, without spending too much. I would like to remain with the 24 inch size, I looked around and for macOS a 24'' 4k display is perfect, but I can't find any of these monitor here, they seem rare for some reason. A 24'' with 2k resolution would be a good trade-off without spending too much? would you recommend it? Or should I spend more and get a 27'' 5k?
