    Can’t reach files through VPN

Hi everyone, I use OpenVPN to connect to boxes on OffSec, and everything works fine when I’m on Kali Linux. With the VPN running, if I check my IP address on Google, it still shows my original IP, which I expect. On Kali, I can access my files through a basic HTTP server while the VPN is active. I just use the VPN address http://192.168.55.155 in the browser, and everything works perfectly—I can see my files without any issues. But here’s the problem: when I switch to macOS and enable the same VPN connection, I can’t use the VPN address to access my files. The HTTP server is running, the VPN is active, and the address 192.168.55.155 is correct. Still, when I try to visit http://192.168.55.155, the browser says the site is “unreachable.” Weirdly enough, I can access the files using http://127.0.0.1, but not with the VPN’s address. This has been bugging me for a while, and I haven’t been able to find a solution. Here’s what I’ve tried so far: 1. Disabling SIP. 2. Turning off the firewall. 3. Binding the HTTP server to 192.168.55.155. None of these worked. Does anyone know what might be causing this or how I can fix it? Any help would be much appreciated!
