Can I backup my entire macbook thru icloud?

Will attempt to trade my MBA M2 for a Razer Blade 2022 tomorrow that’s why I’m looking to reset everything, but in case it doesn’t push through (have to check his laptop too), how can I backup my Macbook so that I can easily restore it? Thanks in advance everyone and happy new year!
