Attaching files in MacOS Sequoia is slow and cumbersome

HI, Attaching files in MacOS Sequoia has become a sluggish process, with latency times of \~ 5-10 seconds. My job entails creating Word or PDF documents, attaching them, and submitting them on a website. This process used to be lightning fast with the previous version of MacOS. After upgrading to Sequoia, the process is now quite sluggish. It takes \~ 5-10 seconds for the attachment to process. Is there a fix in the works? Is anyone else encountering this issue?
