Anyone else having this issue with iPhone Mirroring?

Every time I try to use iPhone mirroring it tells me to unlock my iPhone and follow the instructions. There are no instructions or prompt on the iPhone. I used to use it all the time, so I've done the initial set up. Here's what a tried to fix it: * Restart iPhone and Mac * Update iPhone and Mac * Switched between "ask every time" and "automatically authenticate" in the app settings * Tried to revoke access in app settings, which just gives me an error. I would really appreciate help with this because I find the mirroring so useful.
