AirDrop stuck because of my ethernet connection

My 2019 i9 iMac (Sequoia 15.1.1) is connected to the internet via ethernet cable (primary), and also through Wi-Fi (secondary, same modem). My iPhone 13 Pro Max (iOS 18.1.1) is also connected to the same Wi-Fi network. When I try to AirDrop something from my iMac to my iPhone, the AirDrop progress gets stuck and then fails. I've tried the following things, to no avail: \-Re-starting both devices \-Re-starting my modem \-Setting both "Allow me to be discovered by" to "Everyone" \-Making Wi-Fi primary on my iMac What did end up working was making my ethernet connection "Inactive" on my iMac, so that it was only connected to Wi-Fi. So clearly the ethernet connection is getting in the way, which is pretty ridiculous. I shouldn't have to disconnect my iMac from ethernet every time I want to send an AirDrop, since it's also connected to the same Wi-Fi as my iPhone. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
