Macbook just updated to Sequoia 15.2, and Google Chrome will not work

This might not be the right thread and I apologize. I just downloaded the new Mac update Sequoia 15.2 and since then everything works fine with the exception of Google Chrome. No matter what I do I will be told that there is no internet connection. I am currently using safari but I hate safari and I have set up chrome to work well with my work and schooling. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling chrome as well as shutting down and restarting my mac. I have also deleted cookies and a host of other things and chrome still will report it has no internet connection. I'm not sure if anyone else is having issues with this, but please let me know if there is any fixes that you know of
