MacBook Air M2 Screen Dimming Issue After Pressing Esc: Troubleshooting macOS 14.6 Graphics Glitch

Hello everyone, I recently bought a MacBook Air M2 with 16GB RAM and 256GB storage, just about a week ago. It came with macOS 14.6 pre-installed, and I upgraded to 14.7.2. Ever since, I’ve been facing an issue where after I press the “Esc” key, the screen dims a bit slower than the lock screen elements (time and date). It seems like the screen dimming effect isn’t syncing properly with the other UI elements when I interact with the laptop, and the delay is noticeable. Has anyone else encountered this issue with their MacBook Air M2? I’m wondering if this might be a bug specific to macOS 14.7.2, or if there’s something else going on with the display or graphics settings. I’m considering upgrading to macOS 15.2, but I’m hesitant because I don’t want to risk a drop in performance or battery life.
