Recommendations on the best laptop for photo editing commonly preferred currently?

Hi everyone, which Mac laptop do you use for photo editing? I want to buy a good one that's simply portable and has good battery life. My budget is around $1500 and that's it. Please let me know if you have any suggestions, i'm willing to spend an extra $200-300 if you say it's worth it. Thanks so much!
