What if I own a game somewhere else other than Apple Store?

Hi everyone, the game "Control" is being introduced to the Apple App Store. I already own a copy of this game on Steam, and I'm wondering if there’s a way to get it for free on the App Store since I’ve already purchased it elsewhere. Has anyone else encountered a similar situation with Apple? Does anyone know if Apple or the developers offer any options for gamers in this scenario? Thanks in advance for any insights!
