Unable to format SanDisk Micro SD cards in Disk Utility- Sequoia 15.2
I've got two SanDisk Micro SD cards, 64GB and 128GB. The 128GB is new never been used. The 64GB had contained the OS for a Raspberry Pi 4. I tried reformatting the 64GB to reinstall the RPi OS. I used the RPi reformatter but it failed giving the error of "error reading from storage SD card may be broken" when verifying. When that didn't work I tried the 128GB but ended up getting the same error message. I switched over to Balena Etcher and get this error message at the verification stage "Something went wrong. If it isa compressed image, please check that the archive is not corrupted. the writer process ended unexpectedly". I then tried the Disk Utility and when that failed, I simply deleted all the files using the finder. I also attempted to reformatting from the Terminal. Also the Finder says that there's only 512mb free on a 64GB card. I wonder if it's a corrupted registry file. Is there a way to see all the cards on the file and delete them?2
