To Mac Mini users: Why a Mac Mini instead of a laptop?

Sup! Looking to hear your guys thoughts on this. Reason is that I'm looking to get rid of Windows for productivity, I have no idea what I'm doing wrong but my desktop PC sucks ass for the most basic tasks, while performing pretty good for games. So, since I don't travel, I'm looking at the Mac Mini, HOWEVER, I would like to know from Mini users, why pick a desktop that don't have upgradeability or repairability?
