Malwarebyte and / or Intego

Hi, I hope members of this group can help me, since I am uncertain about these different apps. I use Intego, mainly since I got fed up with the jungle of subscription costs over at BitDefender. And also since Intego is Mac only. I have now tested a free version of Malwarebytes since I was recommended that it was good at finding ... well, malware. Being a procrastinator I of course run both, but I guess that they have the same or similar functions? So: do I need both or just one? Which one to go for if so? Or does it not really matter? I think the cost is similar.
