Macbook keeps starting on its own

I have a M1 Macbook Air. Recently I noticed that everytime I open thr mac, its fully drained and dead even though I had charged it before keeping the lid closed. I realised that the laptop is never actually sleeping.(tried changing all the settings to make it sleep after inactivity) Then I noticed that the Screen Time app and battery usage app is constantly on, showing that my laptop is being used when it was was closed. I tried shutting down the laptop and voila it keeps starting back on its own! What has gone wrong with my laptop, can somebody help please
