mac os x installation error

(not fluent in english) i was trying to upgrade my macbook pro mid 2012 to catalina 10.15.7. my macbook is 10.14 and it gave a "storage and repair" error. i followed some instructions which involved restarting and holding command+R and it somehow made my pc 10.7 mac os x with some lion image. its stuck in the disc utility page and when i click install mac os x it shows this loading hours. please help
