Internet recovery randomly appeared and won’t go away
Hi everyone, I know nothing about computers and am posting out of sheer desperation as a college student who needs to get work done. My laptop is a MacBook Pro Model A1502. It was doing this thing where it would select images and files on my desktop as if I had clicked on them, but then wouldn’t deselect when I clicked away. If I deleted the image, it would just jump to another image or file. I restarted my laptop, and then the internet recovery appeared. I’ve never gotten this before and was scared it was a virus but luckily it isn’t. However, it won’t get out of internet recovery mode. I’ve gone through the process multiple times, and it says there are no issues found (the code is ADP000). It then prompts me to click “Get started”, which it says will help me determine my support and service options by starting up in macOS recovery. It also says I’ll have access to Safari. But once I hit “Get started”, it just takes me back to the beginning of the internet recovery process. I’ll do it over again, but it just says all the same things and takes me back to putting my WiFi password in. Over and over. I have no idea what to do at this point. I’ve seen other people posting about this who were trying to backup their laptop when this happened, but all I did was turn my laptop on and off. Any help would be immensely appreciated as I’m sadly on a time crunch.4
