How to set priority of apps/ process triggered by a user be in high priority

Hi Guys I am a bit new to mac I wanted to see if the priority of all the apps set by a user me (username is varun) set to high priority I think the below command will help increase the priority if I know the process id sudo renice -n -15 -p <process-id> So will the below command help in increasing the priority of the apps launched by user sudo renice -n -15 -u "varun" Where varun is the user name
