Bookmarks problem in Safari

Hi folks, I'm using Safari and I'm actually getting along fine, there's just one thing that's driving me crazy. I use the bookmarks bar and have created folders in it. Now I sometimes want to move existing bookmarks into this folder, but that doesn't work and if I then manage to do it via the upload window, I can no longer delete them from the folder afterwards, but am forced to delete the whole folder. I need your help...
