best version of macos for a 2018 macbook pro?

sorry, just curious on what the best version would be to run on a 15in 2018 macbook pro (i7, 16gb) would updating straight to sequoia be fine?? i don't really know how things would work performance-wise/bug-wise, any help would be awesome
