Are VPNs still an issue with the newest Sequoia (15.2) update?

Hey everyone, I haven't updated my OS in a while (Still on Monterey 12.3) and was going to give Sequoia a try. I read in the bugs thread that the VPN issue was a major plague contained within the first release of Sequoia, interfering with an assortment of things from wifi connectivity to typing in the message app. Has this VPN bug been fixed? I haven't seen it mentioned much outside of that thread. I use NordVPN on a M1 Pro 2021 Macbook if it makes any difference. Thanks!
