Saved From Potential Scam at Naza Market Hazratganj
Today, I visited Naza Market to inquire about a printer for my shop. The model I wanted wasn’t available anywhere because shopkeepers said it’s now sold only online, as it’s a year-old model. Finally, I found a shop where the owner said he could get it. Relieved, I asked him to bring the printer so I could inspect it for any defects. However, he responded slightly rudely, saying, “That’s not how it works here. You need to pay first, take the sealed box home, and if there’s any issue, contact the company’s helpline. The printer comes with an onsite warranty." I told him I couldn’t make the payment without at least inspecting the sealed box for visible issues. He refused. Suspecting this is a clear scam i left. This is the experience I had at a computer shop right by the road in Naza Market.3
