Private college for btech in CSE

I took my father's advice and took a gap year to prepare for JEE through self study , unfortunately I didn't do well and there's barely any hope left for the second attempt. So yes , I'll be joining a private college for my btech. I scored 89% in my boards ( ISC ) in top 4 subjects including English. Which college should I join for CSE / IT ? My family has a tight budget and I am getting atleast 50% ( or more ) scholarship at Amity Lucknow. ( I don't live too far from the college so hostel isn't needed ) I know that on campus placements of private colleges are really bad , 4-6Lpa only. So I believe off campus placement is the only way. I was wondering if y'all can guide me. I don't care much about having fun in college. I am wiling to work hard in the next four years and not make the same mistakes that I made in my gap year. I request y'all, alumnis , seniors , etc to guide me.
