Lucknow development authority is a bunch of egoistic and money hungry executives

Context- My dad is a retired cop and during his service he bought a plot of land in the early 2000s in south of Lucknow. After he retired, he used up all his retirement funds to try and make some shops so that he could have an added source of income after retirement. Now whenever we try to build something on our own land Lucknow DDA interferes and user force to tear everything down. We have spent lakhs and lakhs of rupees to achieve nothing but a pile of rubble. There were some local land grabbers active in the area and he even beat my dad up after he tried and intimidate him on his own property. At first they refused to file an FIR but nothing was done month after an FIR was filed. It is beyond me that how can this happen. What does an honest taxpayer get in this country? Nothing. You are billed for everything and owed nothing.
