Stepped into the store after a long day of work, visibly famished (I’m an advocate). They looked at me with despise and said that they only do bridal work and their work starts at 20k and that it would’nt be suitable for me. Also ‘kindly’ suggested that I get material and try out the tailoring shop in the petrol bunk next to them because, I quote “molk athavum korchoode nannavua” translation: “that would be more suitable for you” PS: I’ve not mentioned my budget in the whole conversation. All of this were their ‘kind’ statements. Left the shop immediately. The judgement and bigotry was beyond stupefying.
