What's cooking for New Year's Eve?

Hey guys, what are the best options in Kochi on NYE for a single male? I don't have a friend's gang who I can meet with here (none on that day anyway). I stay close to the metro, so if the metro will run on NYE till say 1 AM, I'm pretty sorted. Not much of a dancer, I'm just looking for spots to hang out that night, have some great conversation, maybe grab a couple drinks. I saw the events on Bookmyshow: Renai, Orb restobar seem decent Gokulam is selling out and Holiday Inn one seems overpriced.
