Pls help me plan a budget solo weekend getaway

I won't be able to visit home on my birthday in mid Feb, and thus, would really want a small getaway trip. Since I'm a student, I'm on a tight budget (<10k). Also, I don't know Malayalam. Looking for some solo woman traveller friendly places I could take a quick cheap train to from Kochi. Thank you!
