"Is it worth investing ₹50 lakhs in a 5-year-old flat in Kochi if we don't plan to stay there in the near future?"

"Hello, I’d like your suggestions or opinions on investing in a 5-year-old flat near Kaloor, priced at ₹50-60 lakhs. I don’t plan to live there for at least the next 10 years, as it won’t be my primary residence since I’m from the Kochi suburbs. Currently, I’m not in India, so this is more of a long-term plan in case I decide to move to Kochi for work in the future. The location in the city center seems convenient - if i move back... From an investment perspective, I heard the property could fetch around ₹25,000 in monthly rent. While the builder isn’t very well-known, the flat looks good. I still need to verify the paperwork. What are your thoughts, especially in terms of depreciation or rental returns / investment perspective with the scenario?"
