Comparison of different travel modes from Infopark to ERS/ERN

I have tried to compare the different transport modes and their ease of use/ cost/ time taken/ factors affecting it. Starting point: I have considered the Aryaas Regent opposite SFS Sunnyvale hotel as the starting point. End point: Either ERS/ERN railway station. Mode 1: Uber – Car Route: Infopark – Kakanad- Civil lines road – ERN or Infopark – Irumpanam - Eroor – Vytilla - ERS Cost: About Rs.300-350 depending on the time of the day. Ease of use: Very high, especially since its door to door. Factors affecting it: Time of day, sometimes the traffic is high, especially on Fridays. Time taken: 45 minutes to 1 hour plus A variation of this is the Uber Auto which mostly costs about the same and takes the same time. Mode 2: Auto to SN Junction + Metro to ERN/ERS Route: Infopark – SN Junction – ERN/ERS Cost: Rs 150 to 180 for Auto and Rs 30 to 40 for the Metro (Total 180 to 220) Ease of use: Short walk from the metro station to both the railway stations Factors affecting it: Very consistent and the route from Infopark to SN Junction usually has moving traffic. Time taken: 45 minutes more or less. Mode 3: Electric Shuttle bus - Water metro to Vytilla – Metro to ERN/ERS Route: Infopark –Water metro - Vytilla -ERN/ERS Cost: Rs 20 Shuttle bus to Water metro station and Rs 30 for water metro to Vytilla and 20 to 30 Rs for Metro (Total 70 to 80) Ease of use: A bit of a walk from the water metro station to Vytilla Metro followed by the Short walk from the metro station to both the railway stations Factors affecting it: Timings of the water metro and space availability on the water metro (only about 100 per pontoon) Time taken: 1 hour 15 mins to 1 hour 30 mins. Mode 4: Auto to Bus stand – Bus to Thripunithra – Metro to ERN/ERS This route has to be explored next. Right now route 2 seems to be the ideal middle ground between cost vs time taken. Any other routes that I can check out? Thank you for your inputs!
