So many effigies popping up

I don't know but I'm seeing a lot of santa effigies popping up across several areas to be burnt on nye... Saw one recently near ngo quarters kakkanad and that too in the middle of the road with little to no security/enforcement causing accident if burnt irresponsibly. Are these effigies set up with the concerned authorities' approval? If not, any mishap happens while burning can cause a huge disaster. Also pappanji burning has been a part of the Fort Kochi carnival' years long tradition. What is this wierd obsession...

Does anyone know any good grounds in kochi to learn driving?

Ive been searching for a ground in which i could learn the basics of driving on my own or with a private instructor and require a ground for the same. But most of the grounds are usually used by people to play or belong to a few communities who don’t let you drive in it. Is there a ground yall know where i could learn to drive?

Restaurants that Serve food in "Black plates" are Red Flag

We've this idea of anything and everything in "black" is aesthetic and cool. I'm not saying it's not cool, but— When restuarants use up Black plates, they have to only put in the least effort in order to clean them. This has been a usual sight since sometime now. The people buy booze from the BEVCO and they drink in this side road as if it is a public bar. I have approached the corporation but they are not doing anything about it. They drink, throw away the bottle, piss and smoke here creating a very bad environment . I live here and it’s annoying.
