Writing a letter to your future self
I've been sending letters for my future self to read for abut 6 years now and you should too! I use [Futureme](https://www.futureme.org/). All you've to do is type, send to an email, pick a date in the future and done! I recently received one i wrote 2 years ago and it was adorable, hopeful and warm. But the one I received today on the eve of my birthday is the reason I'm here telling everyone they should do it too! Thiis year was the epitome of how trashy days and months all together can be. Just mentally, physically, draining. Dark Dark days and yet here we are. Alive & Kicking. I wrote in my letter (in future tense) how I'm proud of myself of having gone to Amsterdam for my summer course, started to invest in property naatil, would no longer be dealing with financial stress, gotten my health and period stuff in check, would have learned to really embrace everything as it comes and have clarity about what i'm doing......**none of which happened.** And yet, here we are. I've also in great detail written about how I'm grateful for my parents' support in pursuing allll my dreams, grateful for the opportunities i have, for getting through some really anxious mentally taxing times and more...... **all of these still stayed the same**. :) There is the obvious disappointment in not having achieved everything that I thought I would have but I'm well enough now, to be sitting in a pretty office during Dubai winters, on reddit during work hours, writing this random note. Happy new year you guys! take it one day at a timeeee3
