What should I expect while going to Fort kochi on new year?

So my parents finally gave me permission to go for new year in Fort kochi. But I literally have no idea what to do now that I got the chance. Is there anything fun to do there or any thing to enjoy????? Also what all things should I be careful of because I hear alot of news about drugs/alcohols each year. Edit: I heard it's crowded af (i hate people and crowds) so I'm thinking of roaming around in Fort kochi and spent the new years night in my house or with friends in queens way.
