Parents compelled me to join Merchant Navy after class 12, now I aspire to go abroad? A'm I making a wrong life decision ? Is it too late ?

Hi, I'm a 22M from cochin currently sailing as a Junior Officer on chemical tankers. I completed Class 12 in 2020, during the peak of the COVID pandemic, when opportunities were limited, and immigration restrictions made it difficult to explore other options. My parents pushed me into this field because two of my dad's siblings(it’s like a kula thozhil) are master mariners in the Bulk Carrier and Container Ships and are well off. While l've gained valuable experience in this profession and also travelled to most European, South American & Asian countries.Now I feel like I want to explore new opportunities abroad permanently and settle in a different country. I'm unsure if this is the right decision or if I'm just overthinking my career and life choices. Is it too late to shift my path and start working toward settling abroad? Has anyone been in a similar situation and found success? I'd really appreciate some guidance or advice from those who've made.
