NEED HELP! Someone(F16) I know is facing mental and physical torture from her father.

Someone I know is experiencing severe mental and physical abuse from her father. Her mother passed away a few years ago, and while her father was abusive even then, his behavior has now escalated toward his daughter. It’s reached a point where the situation is unbearable for her. I’m not a relative of hers, but I’ve tried reaching out to her extended family for help. Unfortunately, they’re unwilling to get involved, as her father has a bad reputation for being manipulative and dangerous, someone who stops at nothing to get his way. He’s also unemployed now, which seems to add to the problem. I’m seeking advice on how I can help her or guide her to someone who can provide the support she desperately needs. Are there any legal or social avenues she can pursue to ensure her safety? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
