My school crush and never realized

When I was in 12th grade, there was this girl from another batch — I was in science, and she was in commerce. She used to stare at me a lot, like almost every day. The moment I looked back, she’d quickly turn away, and it left me so confused. This went on for quite a while, and I had no idea why she kept looking at me. After I finished my course, I got a random message on Instagram from an unknown account, and guess what—it was her. We started texting and chatting, and everything seemed fine. But then I joined Mr. P.C. Thomas’ coaching center (you know, the place with "strict rules"). I didn’t use Instagram for a whole year and completely forgot about her. Last week, she called me out of the blue to invite me to her wedding. That’s when all the confusion came flooding back. I talked to my friend about it, and he was like, “Bro, she had a crush on you.” I was shocked and didn’t believe him at first. We even ended up arguing about it. Finally, I decided to call her and just asked her straight up. She admitted it—with a laugh! And I couldn’t believe how clueless I’d been. Like, a good-looking girl had a crush on me for so long, and I didn’t even realize it!
