Dear Kochi IT folks, will my career be ruined if I shift from Mumbai to Kochi?

Hi all, I'm a senior techy working in Mumbai for 8 years. I have a wife and a newborn baby. Since I feel my baby should brought up in Kerala, I am considering shifting to Kochi. (Also, I'm tired of the traffic, polluted air, and unfriendly neighborhoods here in Mumbai.) Will I get enough opportunities and? Or will I end up regretting my decision? Kindly share your honest opinions
