Route Suggestions - Bangalore to Changanassery

Will be driving from Bangalore to Changanassery on Tuesday morning- around 4:30 AM. I usually take the route Bangalore - Salem - Dindigul - Kumily and to Changanassery. This time around I’m contemplating whether to go visa Coimbatore - Palakkad instead. Inputs from any one who has done the routes recently would definitely help ! Google is showing a max of 30 minutes difference between the routes
