Centre allocates ₹59.71 crore for Ashtamudi Biodiversity and Eco-recreational Hub

Union Minister of State for Petroleum & Natural Gas and Tourism Suresh Gopi has informed N.K. Premachandran, MP, that the Ministry of Tourism has approved a ₹59.71 crore project for the development of tourism in the Ashtamudi Lake and its surrounding areas. This allocation of ₹59.71 crore is part of Special Assistance to States for Capital Investment (SASCI) to develop the Ashtamudi Biodiversity and Eco-recreational Hub which has to be completed within a period of two years.
