Has anyone recently bought a BH registered car in Kerala? Sales exec says they're no longer available

Hello, I’m planning to buy a car for my father, who is a central government employee in India. We were considering a BH (Bharat) registration car, but the sales executive told me that Kerala has stopped issuing BH registrations. I also contacted a showroom in Bangalore, and they informed me that I would need to provide proof that my father has been living in Bangalore for at least a year to be eligible for a BH registration there. Before I proceed with the purchase, I wanted to check if anyone here has recently bought a BH registered car in Kerala or knows if the process has really been discontinued. Any insights or recent experiences would be really helpful!
