I want a husband but I can't find anyone - is it same for everyone?

I don't know what to do I feel time running out, I'm 27f and I have tried dating sites and some marriages proposals have come by. If my family suggested it and I like the guy, I don't feel comfortable talking to him just coz my family will have a discussion on it. If I accept or reject they want to know reasons and I feel that too much to share. I have told them I don't want to marry now but I am actively searching and I don't know why I feel no one's interesting enough to consider. I'm not being picky I just want someone I can talk to and hangout with, financially stable and a family who is not too traditional. My family is pretty progressive and I want someone like that. I am a Christian and I don't believe in denomination but my family is having a problem with that. I'm confused and I am stressed out so I completely stop looking... Is this something everyone goes through or I'm making it complicated?
